I want to help create a kinder, gentler, more equitable, more ecologically sustainable world. I’m interested in meditation, yoga, great teams, and making computer hardware and software.
- Meditation is a great way to learn to be kind to yourself; you can only be as kind to others as you are to yourself.
- A great team aggregates the individual greatness of their members into genius-quality work.
You can read more about these topics in my essay Summoning Genius.
I meditate and am a Zen Buddhist. I think ethical and ecological business is the best way for teams to engage with the world.
I lead artificial intelligence software development teams. I believe that safe AI has great potential to help the world and humanity. My teams often use the Core Protocols to enable us to aggregate our greatness; I recommend them highly. I also often use Agile software development methodologies (Scrum, Extreme Programming) in my work, and I’m an enthusiast of these techniques.

Outside of work I meditate, do yoga, cook, juggle, run, and hike. I love making Indian food and baking apple pies.
